MEASUREMENTS TAKEN DURING THE
SLEEP STUDY: §
Brain waves (EOG) Electrodes
are placed on the scalp. §
Heart waves (EKG)
Electrodes are placed on the chest. §
Eye Movements (EOG)
Electrodes are placed above and below the eyes. §
Muscle Tone
(EMG) Electrodes are placed on the chin. §
Leg movements (EMG) Electrodes
are placed on the lower legs. §
Airflow breathing (sensor is
placed underneath the nose) §
Chest and abdominal breathing
(sensors are placed around the chest and
abdomen outside of your pajamas) §
Oxygen levels (SpO2) A sensor is attached to your finger. Further explanation will be given by the
sleep technologists at the test center. If you have any questions or
